Yup, I was hit by a car going 40mph while I was crossing a crosswalk. Arm broken in three places, which required 2 plates and a rod installed during surgery. 4 broken ribs and a whole lotta dermis left on the pavement. Fortunately I was wearing a backpack full of engineering books so it might have saved my back and neck from injury. My 3-ring binder was smashed enough from me landing on it that it is now a 3-D binder.
For you medical bondage fetishists, I got pics and Xray scans of my hardware coming later this week.
