Gibbons said he has reached out to Hagerty multiple times by email and phone but that his new neighbor won’t have a conversation with him. Hagerty’s real estate agent, Pat Carapiet of Paragon, referred calls to an attorney who did not respond to an interview request. The seller’s agents, Ken Eggers and Rob Rogers of Zephyr, didn’t return a call seeking comment.

In the meantime, Hagerty said he has nowhere to go. He was planning on moving into the new condo on May 3, and his current sublet is over. He has decided to make his plight public, posting details of the situation on the real estate online publication Socketsite, where the situation was first reported, as well as Redfin. “I can’t in good conscious move into the unit,” said Hagerty. “It would be harmful to my child and dramatic and upsetting.”

Man sentenced in mother-daughter dominatrix case

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Tuesday for training a young girl to become an internet and in-person dominatrix and using the then-teen’s services to maintain a profitable business for several years.

Todd B. Barkau, 38, of New York, formerly of Blue Springs, Missouri, will spend the rest of his life on supervised release after his 25-year term.

Barkau and the victim’s mother, who is not being identified to protect the identity of the victim,pleaded guilty in September 2009 to sex trafficking of a child .

Barkau began training the girl in 2000, when she was just 12 years old, to become a bondage-domination-sadism-masochism (BDSM) sexual dominatrix.

Federal prosecutors say his training included engaging in BDSM acts with the girl, forcing her to do so with other men and using BDSM pornography on the internet to teach her different techniques.

All the while, the victim’s mother was complacent with and assisted with the training.

After two years, when the girl was 14, Barkau created a website advertising the victim as a 19-to-20-year-old BDSM dominatrix named “Mistress Alisha.”

For two years, Barkau sold “Alisha’s” dominatrix services to men who paid to watch her on the internet and to have in-person sessions with her.

According to authorities, Barkau and the victim’s mother picked the name Alisha because it was the woman’s former stripper name.

The victim’s mother was sentenced in May to 15 years in federal prison without parole and was ordered to pay $200,000 in restitution to the victim.

Barkau’s sentence also included $200,000 in restitution to the victim for future counseling costs.

Riding horses, hanging with the local cowboys, Indians and bikers, and hiking through unspoiled mountains was all amazing, but the real reward was soaking the tired feet in crystal-clear glacial pools at the end of the trail.

My friend and mentor passed away this weekend. She will always be remembered for her tremendous wit, intelligence, but most of all, her heart for all whom she came across. I looked up to her in early days at the Dominion, and was proud to call her my friend and fellow Angelean in trips around the fetish world. You will be sorely missed, and the world has lost another shining star.

Kinbaku You - New Gallery!

I've posted a new gallery of the ropework employed at the recent Fetish Photo Workshop. Please feel free to comment.

I choose to use the word "kinbaku" to describe my ropework because the word literally means "the beauty of tight bondage" in Japanese. The more prevalent word "shibari" means literally "to tie," as in packages and objects. While "shibari" is technically correct, it does not lend itself to erotic overtones that "kinbaku" does. As an example of its appropriate context, you could mention to your friend's Japanese grandmother your shibari skills in wrapping Christmas presents , but mention "kinbaku" and her granddaughter in the same sentence and you'll probably get a swift kick in the nuts.

My next kinbaku photo shoot where I will be rigging is slated for July 31. If you are interested in bottoming for this shoot, email me with your level of experience both in modeling and in bondage, as well as a photo full-body photo of yourself. You face will not used in the shots, discretion is preserved.
